Facebook makes it easy to see that people have many things to be grateful for. I see many posts every day during the month of November of the many things my friends and family are grateful for. Thanksgiving is always a reminder to be grateful for what we already have.
I felt the need to write this post here, on my blog, because I am so grateful for this blog and everything that has come along with it.
I’m thankful for the brands I have worked with!
At the start of 2017 (and every year) I make a wishlist of brands I would love to work with that year. I usually make a list of 5-10 brands. Although there were many I didn’t get the chance to work with this year, I did make some amazing connections with about 4 on my wishlist. Including the brand I had as my number 1! I was also very fortunate to work with other brands I didn’t even have on my radar! I’ve already began my list for 2018 and hope to make some more amazing connections.
I’m thankful for the haters and trolls!
Sounds funny, right? Although people and their opinions can sometimes take a toll, it reminds me, that is what makes the world go around. I’m happy we all do not have the same opinions and ideas. How boring would that be? It also reminds me to be kind. Just because someone doesn’t agree with me, their opinions and feelings are valid too (unless they’re opinions are really stupid- no, I’m totally just kidding) I can accept and agree to disagree in a friendly, positive, way. It has taught me not everyone can accept other peoples ways of thinking and resort to ugliness. It makes me grateful that I was taught, not stoop to that level and if I do not have anything nice to say, to not say anything at all.
I’m grateful for the amazing connections I have made!
Where I live not many people really understand the whole blogging thing. They have no idea what a blog is, or why blogging can be considered a entrepreneurial position. I have given up on trying to explain the whole thing. I have instead been fortunate enough to make some amazing blogger friends, who completely understand every high and low there is in this job. I have some amazing women (and one or two men) in my corner and really love supporting one another. I have become close with a few ladies who are beyond amazing, generous, and uplifting. These ladies give me so much inspiration and faith in this process. They are positive, caring, and always willing to help and share. I truly admire them! I really can’t even explain how grateful to have them in my life. Every single day they touch my heart and I will forever be thankful to have been connected to them! Thank you ladies, for all you do!
Thank you 2017 for being a great year! Already looking forward to 2018 and all it has to offer! Wishing you a beautiful year ahead! Be sure to keep checking back to see what AWESOME things I have as giveaways for you, for the holidays. Those AMAZING brands I was speaking of, have been so generous and will be hosting many giveaways with Real Life Mama Drama and for my readers. I’m so excited, stay tuned!
