I’m down, I’m up. I’ve lost, I’ve gained. My jeans are tight, and this damn scale must be broken again. I have even blamed my drying for shrinking everything! How often do we struggle with our weight? Too often, I think!
When I was 27 and a size 10, I thought I needed to lose weight. So I started a plan which worked well, and I only hated every other second of it. I lost weight slowly which is the health way to do things. After a few months I went from a size 10 to a size 4. A 4 was the smallest I had been since probably junior high. We all know a 10 isn’t big, but a 4 seemed so tiny for me. Looking back, I think a size 6 is an ideal size for me.
Back then, I wanted to lose weight to fit into cuter clothes and look better. My thoughts on losing weight now are for much different reasons. My children! I want to set a good example, and be healthy so I can be around for them as long as possible. Plus who doesn’t want their small children to look at them and have them think mommy is pretty.
I remember from college (maybe a psych class, or maybe health and wellness) there are 5 stages to making a change. Any kind of change, losing weight, stop smoking, saving money… 1) pre-contemplation stage 2) contemplation 3) determination 4) action 5) maintenance 6) termination. Right now starting this journey I know I need to do, I will say I am at the contemplation stage. I know what I need to do and that I should just start already, but a little voice in me is still telling me “you know this is hard work, right?” “Are you sure you want to?” My answer is yes I remember the hard work (and will power) from years ago, but man I still just need to give myself that kick in the ass I need. We all do right! Then because I believe the universe hears our wants/needs, I was given an offer.
Fit Mom Life, started by a busy mom, is helping people to lose weight. Best part, they offer options! For example, they offer a “No Salad Plan”, or “The Ultra Quick Plan”, “The Gluten Free Plan, and even the “The Taco Plan”.
All of the plans offered have customized workouts, which have been approved by personal trainers, which take into account everyone’s personal fitness level.
The meals (which are real food you buy yourself from the grocery store) are already coordinated and have been designed by registered dietitians. The meals are designed to be quick and easy to make.
Everything is custom to you and your needs. Workouts, meals, and even tips on when eating out or at fast food restaurants.
I have signed up and started receiving all of meal plans and workouts. Plus weekly emails of encouragement. I will admit, I haven’t fully committed yet, I’m getting my mindset to slowly go in that direction. I will be checking in with all of you, my readers, and let you know of the progress that I am making.
So let’s talk price! How does $10.97 per week or $7.54 per week if you pay for 3 months at a time. That is less expensive than a gym membership (which you will no longer need. At home workouts are designed just for you).
Plus they have been nice enough to offer you, my readers, $20 off your first month!
