The Myth of Santa’s Beard

I could not even wait one more day to feature this book with you.  I would usually post a book review on my Wacky Wednesday series, but I had to share this one as soon as I got my hands on it.  The book was given to me to review by the author herself, Sharon Thayer.

The book’s title is The Myth of Santa’s Beard

The gorgeous award winning book’s, illustrations are by Marci Chambers and Frank Pryor. This book has received the prestigious Moonbeam Children’s Book Award.  “Celebrating youthful curiosity, discovery and learning through books and reading”

My true honest opinion of this book:  This is the best children’s book about Santa and the holiday season!  It is far from your typical Christmas/Santa story.  It’s focus is not on presents, toys, or material things.  It is about teaching children kindness, playing fair, and good old values.  It is touching and so creative and like nothing I have ever read before (as a “Christmas” book).  My boys LOVE it and have asked to read it every day since we have gotten it.  I can’t even say enough wonderful things about this book!  This will make an amazing gift for grandchildren, nieces, nephews, secret Santa gifts…

There is even a secret feature inside that is sure to bring your little one (and you) a big smile. The Myth of Santa’s Beard has definitely earned our “best book” title in our house.   I  We truly love it, and will be a tradition for many, many years to come. santa1.png

  1. I’ve been looking for a book to pick up for my kids this season. We’re starting a new tradition of new “cozy clothes” (pjs and the like) on Christmas Eve plus a new Christmas book to read. Will definitely be checking this one out, thank you!
